Polly Hughes: Im a student studying 'Textile Crafts' at the University of Huddersfield in England, i went onto the course with a broad outlook on textiles, not really having a specific interest in a particular field of textiles, however, 2 years into the course i found my style, i love Print and pattern and i am hugely inspired by space, lines, geometric shapes, photography and media. These inspirations have come from travelling and recongnising the variety of space and architecture in different countries, for example New York where i gained ample of inspiration on a university field trip. And Finland, where i did a year as an exchange student. i am currently in my Final year as a craft student hoping the inspiration will flow all year long. wish me luck
